In The Beginning
Westell Design Group was founded in 2007 by David West in Freeport, ME. After 8 years and various roles in the Software Industry David saw a change forming in the landscape. Large corporations where beginning to feel the backlash of the push to outsource development oversees. Short term gains in productivity are often diluted by long term quality issues. Inevitably small and midsize corporations would follow suit with this revelation. The niche is formed. Westell Design Group specializes in augmenting small development shops with expert, affordable software engineering resources.

At Westell Design Group we believe in providing affordable solutions for small and moderate size corporations. We strive for quality in our work and ethics in our business dealings. We are in business to make money, but we don't feel you need to be ruthless to be successful. Treat the customer right, provide solid service and everything else will follow.
